GStreamer | gst-plugins-base | Ver: HEAD CVS
------- Comment #5 from Sebastian Dröge 2008-06-11 08:54 UTC -------
Ok, so there are two problems now IMHO:
a) We would depend on something that was released just a week before the
gst-plugins-base release. Some people always complained if we depended on
something that was released some months ago because "it's too new".
b) LGPLv3 being incompatible with GPLv2-only. That's IMHO not our problem but
the one of applications that provide CD ripping but are GPLv2-only. They have
exactly the same problem anyway if someone has the new cdparanoia installed, no
matter if we depend on exactly that new version or not.
