  GStreamer | gstreamer (core) | Ver: 0.10.19
Summary: gst_base_src_send_event will block if basesrc is
                    blocking in its create function.
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.19
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gstreamer (core)
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: bjarne at axis.com
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

Please describe the problem:
I've an application that needs to send an EOS to a basesrc-element at any time.
If the basesrc element is blocking in its create function the call to
gst_base_src_send_event will block until the create-function unblocks and in my
case it can take quit some time. It would be better if the call just queues the
EOS and then returns.

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
