Please describe the problem:
When running cheese in 32-bit Fedora 9 from the Fedora repo, the above
mentioned assert error appears.  I reported this earlier in

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run cheese from the command line.


Actual results:
Above-mentioned assert error appears, multiple times.

Expected results:
