In reply to comment #1: of course it still happens, I filed the bug only 2 days
ago :) I am using whatever is on the gstreamer ppa*, so gst-plugins-base and
gstreamer 0.10.23.3, with totem 2.26.1 (stock jaunty version).

If you want me to provide a debug log, just give me the command to generate it.
