So, I looked into patching the existing audioresample unit test code in
gst-plugins-base, but it's segfaulting on me.  I mean, it segfaults when
building and running it on the master branch (before applying any patches from
this PR).  I'm a bit stumped.  Does it run correctly for you guys?
