The errors are the result of configuring a non-working sound output (you should
get better error messages, but that's another long-fixed bug (bug #471364).

The criticals/warnings indicate a refcount bug.

It is likely that this is a bug in pidgin's error handling (I've seen this
pattern before). It looks like pidgin just unrefs an element/pipeline without
first doing gst_element_set_state (element, GST_STATE_NULL);
