Please describe the problem:
GStreamer-based programs will not play the streams available at
<http://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf9/Streams>. The first frame of the video
stream comes through, but the picture does not move, and there is no audio.

Steps to reproduce:
1. gst-launch playbin uri=http://video.debconf.org:8000/Upper_talkroom.ogv.m3u
