We don't support gst-ffmpeg builds against a system ffmpeg. Only builds against
the bundled ffmpeg are supported, please report this issue to your
distribution.

Regarding the /usr/lib/i686 location, that's a glibc feature to have optimized
versions of a library at different directories.
