The sink notifies only that it could not retreive the jack's connection status
nor its type, it does not change its configuration whenever an analogic or
digital is detected : this is only some debug additional information.

As you do not hear any sound, did you try to add and force the volume option to
the apex sink (for example gst-launch-0.10 audiotestsrc ! decodebin !
audioconvert ! audioresample ! apexsink host=192.168.0.107 volume=100) ?
