Using pulseaudio 0.9.14 and the gst git from today (May 9 2009).

Sometimes I get a bit of stuttering at the start and then silence and sometimes
it just fails to start with:

(gst-launch-0.10:17594): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_clock_set_calibration:
assertion `internal <= gst_clock_get_internal_time (clock)' failed
