OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: Normal
Component: gstreamer (core)
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: hebert.bernardo at gmail.com
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net

Nothing using gstreamer + pulseaudio playbacks anymore. System sounds doesn't

Steps to reproduce:

2. select an audio file
3. execute it.
Actual results:

Expected results:
Nothing is to be expected. It just should work
Does this happen every time?
every time
Other information:
I own a Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 07) using SPDIF (coaxial)
After I've tried to play the .mp3 file I've lost all my sound output even using
VLC (over SPDIF)
No sound either using flash on Firefox.
I was able to regain sound over SPDIF (VLC) runing:
(after close all open programs)
$ iecset audio true
Then you can activate (uncheck & check) your digital output (SB Live!) with
alsa mixer or gnome.
