Totem would like to be able to resume the playback of a DVD if the user ejected
the disc and later played it again. This includes title/chapter, position,
language and subtitles.

Simple seeking to a position is not going to work for DVDs, right? What would
be needed in GStreamer and how should playbin provide this functionality?

Or is this too much for playbin? Is it even worth it at all, in your opinion?
