Is this reproducible somehow? Could you try if it still happens with gstreamer
0.10.24.2?

In that case it'd be great if you could reproduce it in piding when running
inside "G_SLICE=always-malloc valgrind --leak-check=full --track-origins=yes
pidgin" and attach the output here.
