In the tutorial for building a plugin at:
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/pwg/html/part-building.html

In section  "3.2. Using the Project Stamp" it says to

shell $ ../tools/make_element ExampleFilter

but then the rest of the documentation is written as if "MyFilter" is used
instead of "ExampleFilter".
