Okay, the bug is in transform_caps part. The current implementation is also
questionable as it relies on basetransform subclasses not returning ANY. This
is not a big deal as it does not seem to make sense to me (can we declare it as
invalid?). This part can also become easier if we decide on adding a new
transform_caps_whole() vmethod (see bug #619844).
