an Annex B Nal unit ends on a sequence of 0.0.0 or a 0.0.1. The remainder
untill the first sequence of 0.0.1 are trailing 0x0 that aren't considered part
of the unit. Given that we know that the sequence behind what we consider the
end is 0.0.1 all 0 bytes before it are trailing and can be discarded.. Or at
least that's my reading

That said i don't mind removing that part of the patch and just discarding
final 0 byte if there is one, to minimize behavioural changes.
