Thanks. Could you also do:

 $ cd tests/check/
 $ rm -f test-registry.reg
 $ GST_DEBUG=*:3,GST_PLUGIN_LOADING:5 make gst/gstabi.check 2>failload.log

to get a plugin loading debug log from the failure.
