With both patches attached, my test DVD (Back to the Future) still has trouble
on the scenes menu. method=linear works OK, however:

gst-launch rsndvdbin device=/path/to/disc ! ffmpegcolorspace ! deinterlace
method=linear ! queue ! dvdspu ! xvimagesink rsndvdbin0. ! queue
max-size-buffers=1 ! dvdspu0.subpicture

works. Removing method=linear fails.
