I did the patch changing the setter for PROP_GRID_X/Y and PROP_DATE avoiding to
change pipeline state and it seems to work. 

Robert I'll post this patch if you agree to remove the state_change since from
the prop setters: the dynamic change should be protected using: 

GST_OBJECT_LOCK (filter)
