I understand the reason perfectly. I am just worried that hardware acceleration
will have constraints that will be difficult to accomodate with Clutter. We've
already experienced quite some difficulties with customers to integrate VAAPI
decoding inside a Clutter surface, this will get harder and harder with every
different API.
