And filesrc for example could have the URI of the file in the beginning, sounds
great.

One thing I don't like though is that you want to allow the separate character
inside the strings too. IMHO it shouldn't be allowed there to allow creating a
tree of the file structure from the tags. The separator, if used inside the
strings, should probably be escaped somehow.
