Ah yes, this is a known bug in libmms (not gstreamer) which has been fixed for
a while now. I just tried the original url from the initial comment:
mms://tilive1.alice.cdn.interbusiness.it/radio24sole1

In totem and that works fine for me, using libmms-0.6.2
