Ok, I have to say that this idea is definitely not a good one :)

If we first try elements that could directly link to the sink we would use mad
directly instead of using mp3parse first for example. This is going to break a
lot of things.

I'm going to close this bug as WONTFIX unless there's really something to fix
here... IMHO this is just an optimization.
