Could you make a GST_DEBUG=*:5 log like this then please?

 $ GST_DEBUG=*:5 cheese 2>dbg.log
 ... reproduce error/problem, then quit or control-C ...
 $ bzip2 dbg.log

and attach dbg.log.bz2?
