This looks like a duplicate of bug #628790 (or vice versa).

However, it's not clear to me that this is not the right behaviour, both for 

  1) this = showing the subtitles by default

or

  2) this = "chapter X" being visible the entire time


1) would need to be fixed or worked around in totem, e.g. via an option. 2)
would need a spec or indication showing that we're either mis-detecting this as
subtitle stream, but it's really something else, or that we get the durations
wrong.
