Audio sinks get their timing wrong with async=false

Example: 

GST_DEBUG=2 gst-launch audiotestsrc is-live=1 ! pulsesink async=false sync=true

See all the warnings..  This one doesn't produce audible breaks, but I can
easily make an example that does.
