I also try use pango from git. So, I install it in ~gst/master/prefix

(system pango version)
dark-al at dv7:~$  pkg-config --modversion pango
1.28.4

(gst-uninstalled pango version)
dark-al at dv7:~/gst/master$ pkg-config --modversion pango
1.30.0
