I'm afraid the 0.10 branch is not really maintained any longer. It would be
more interesting to us to see if the problem persists with GStreamer 1.0.

However:

 - have you tried if this also happens with GStreamer from git (0.10 branch)?
It might have gotten fixed since in git since the last 0.10 release.

 - perhaps you could try and narrow down which pad/element that lock relates to
exactly? (e.g. by correlating the pointer to info found in the GST_DEBUG=*:8
log).
