This looks fine, but needs more explanation. The commit message doesn't really
make sense. I'm guessing the main change was the addition of the #ifndef to
avoid some compiler warning about it being re-defined to some other value, and
the change from EAGAIN to WSAWOULDBLOCK is gratuitious (since it can't be
returned anyway on windows afaict)?
