If you start seeing lots of drops with large frames, it may be that it's a
hardware issue. Maybe a bandwidth bottleneck ? I assume the rest of the
pipeline is the same in all these four cases so the network load should be
similar.

What happens if you take out the network part of the equation, and instead of a
network sink, you decode/display ? Does the dropping disappear if you set
sync=0 on the video sink ?

Unrelatedly, the bugs you file seem to be set to "blocker" for some reason.
They should default to "normal", unless you specifically want to change it.
