Sad to hear, but understandable. There are only so many reviewers :(

That would be great !

All development effort is going right now in the master branch (i.e. 1.0). It
brings many performance improvements, and new demuxers.

Don't hesitate to ask for assistance here or on the #gstreamer IRC channel
