Of course I can: I downloaded all five tarballs from
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org

first built the gstreamer, then gstreamer-base and third this one:

/src/gst-plugins-good/gst-plugins-good-1.0.2.tar.xz

then extracted the archive and 1.) ./configure 2.) make 3.) make check
That's how it was done.

(In these minutes I'm going on installing the other three tarballs:ugly,bad and
libav)

only wanting to get subtitleeditor running without all these
*** glibc detected ***: malloc() memory corruption 
and segmention faults)))
