Andre, in the /usr/lib64 directory i have libraries of glib namely 
libglib-2.0.so
libglib-2.0.so.0
libglib-2.0.so.0.3200.4

I am seeing g_mutex_lock symbol in all the above libraries when I run the nm
tool.
