Trying "gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc ! identity ! valve ! gamma ! videoconvert !
videobalance ! videoconvert ! autovideosink" on gstreamer 1.0 (release) will
make the pipeline hang on PREROLLING for a _long_ time, till the caps
negotiation finally finishes.
