A smoothstreaming plugin is ready to be merged, it currently is at:

http://cgit.collabora.com/git/user/thiagoss/gst-plugins-bad.git/ [master]

It also requires patches from:
http://cgit.collabora.com/git/user/thiagoss/gst-plugins-good.git/log/
http://cgit.collabora.com/git/user/thiagoss/gst-plugins-base.git/log/


Those same patches are required for dashdemux at:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=690555
