A crash can also happen if the video pad is blocked by its stream-start event,
and the subtitle pad already received its caps. In this case the _link_renderer
function fails because the video caps are ANY.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get a trace of the crash, I can't
reproduce the race with gdb running.
