Yes, that works fine, all issues are gone (package built using system libav
As far as 0.10 - I believe it  uses the same libav shared libs as 1.0 though
the default for the 0.10 element is max-threads 1
(when using the previous posted gst-launch-0.10 blah/blah command with 0 or 2
is it really using multi-thread?, if so it works fine in 0.10
