Actually, after looking at my logs again, I cannot see anything wrong ...
except that the remote sending rate changed (from a slope (local clock vs
remote clock) of 0.999993 to 0.999997 within a few seconds).

That being said, the channel changed between from a movie to a "live" tv show
around that time, so my guess is that was the reason.

Anyway, I didn't observe the consistent dropping frame issue mentionned in
comment #1. I wasn't watching the stream all the time (listening to it in the
background) but whenever I looked at it I didn't see any loss, stream looked
fine.

So I still need some other logs as mentionned in comment #5.
