Is this still a problem with 1.0? 0.10 is no longer maintained.

What do you mean with error status here? That it takes 1.5-2mins after you
removed the camera for GStreamer to post an error message? What will happen
between removing the camera and the error, freezing video image?

With removing the camera you basically mean removing it from the network,
right?
