we haven't been ported to 1.x. and just a few weeks ago drop again d3d and
switch back to directdraw in 0.10 since on some system it's segfault.

i hope it'll work with 1.x but we need to port not just our code but at the
same time gstreamer-java and jna too to 1.x and java7 which is a rather large
work not to mention it'd have to work on rhel6 too where libffi (for jna) and
glib (for gstreamer) are too old so we've to some should have to solve this
too...
currently there is no way to use 1.x on rhel6 (which is the latest enterpise
release:-()
