IMHO the input-selector behaviour is correct and streamsynchronizer has to be
fixed. That will be handled in bug #704427. Keeping this one here open for
input-selector to make sure the offending commit is reverted before 1.2.0 if we
can't find a better solution to at least keep regressions away.
