I would have really appreciated if this whole discussion/work had happened in
another bug (this one is about *adding* gstmeta to codeparsers, not about
*improving* the exixsting ones).

There are other codecparsers which will need it (h264, vc1,...).

Please move all patches/discussions to a new bug properly title ("Add slice
header information to ...."). Also try to make just two patches to review. One
that adds support to gstcodecparsers, the other one to use it in the element.
