Understood.  However, the second patch is an attempt to address an issue where
it appears that gst_buffer_get_size() returns the wrong overall size of the
memory chunks of which it is comprised.  A symptom of this appears in
uvch264src as an error message to the affect that "Incomplete auxiliary stream.
 %d bytes missing".  Usually I could only run 15-20 minutes without this
change.  I have now been running for four hours with no change to v4l2src and
the previous uvch264src patch and this new one applied.  I am still testing.
