Or you could have a very-high ranked element that handles http, does
autodetection of the actual protocol somehow and then creates the correct
element for that.
I think the main problem here is that the DNLA people failed to define a
distinctive URI scheme for their protocol and reused and existing one for
something different. Same as the DASH/HLS/SmoothStreaming people. Nothing we
can change now but it has to be worked around somewhere.
