The fact that ALSA by itself works fine, JACK by itself works fine, GStreamer
JACK sink works fine (with JACK sitting on top of ALSA) leads me to believe
that the GStreamer alsasink plugin has issues.  Is it possibly an ALSA API
usage issue by the alsasink plugin?
