I was unable to run eglinfo, however a little search gave me this info:
$sudo lshw -C display
*-display
description: VGA compatible controller
product: GK107 [GeForce GT 630 OEM]
vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
physical id: 0
bus info: pci at 0000:01:00.0
version: a1
width: 64 bits
clock: 33MHz
capabilities: pm msi pciexpress vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom
configuration: driver=nvidia latency=0
resources: irq:16 memory:f6000000-f6ffffff memory:e0000000-efffffff
memory:f0000000-f1ffffff ioport:e000(size=128) memory:f7000000-f707ffff
I also installed mesa-utils and tried $glxinfo
name of display: :0
display: :0 screen: 0
direct rendering: Yes
server glx vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
server glx version string: 1.4
...
Could you please tell me if there is something amiss on my machine, will
continue to look at the mismatch between drivers and libEGl
