Those patches prevent using overlay composition in some cases, for example when
a videoconvert element is in the pipeline. I don't think any element or sink
actually sets and negotiates the OVERLAY_COMPOSITION feature correctly, so
those patches should be reverted in 1.4 at least, IMHO.
