Sorry I wasn't clear, the patch 265175 fixed the fact there were 2 allocation
queries in decodebin (for each stream).
If you are ok with the patch I'll push it and close this bug.

(gst-launch-1.0 filesrc location=videofile ! decodebin ! xvimagesink)

I agree and yes it's happening. But I think I should open a different bug for
