So this issue 'Audio lost after a while' hasn't occurred anymore with the
patch?
If your choppy audio occurs in the diff < 0 condition, this means that the
audio is arriving too late at the audiosink.
Maybe this is caused by mpgtssrc due to either not properly reporting it's
latency or incorrect timestamps?
If the problem is in alsasink, probably something caused an incorrect clock
skew?
Perhaps the audiorate plugin and the basesink ts-offset can be of help to debug
the problem.
