This is not following any packing guidlines. We would like this to follow what
has been set as a standard in mostly all projects (specially what is being done
in GStreamer repo). Look at other GStreamer components tarball for examples.
It's very inconvenient for packaging if there is no single root directly, if
it's not versioned too. Ideally, even if -sharp is not using autotool base
build scripts, we should try and automate releases like "make dist" do and
ensure it's concistent between releases. Spinning a new dev release would be
nice.
